PARK PLAY PLACE is a reimagination of the truckstop that utilizes playful architecture to promote wellbeing. Playful architecture includes design elements that are whimsical and joyful and encourage users to engage in productive play. The goal of the design and program is to stimulate the mind, elicit happy feelings, and reduce the stress of drivers. Founded in psychological, sociological and architectural research and analysis, this project seeks to reexamine a working environment as a place for play integration to better facilitate wellness and ease societal pressures.
